Every young man in our program is matched with a mentor who commits to a full school year — not a single visit.

About the program
Mentoring is the foundation of everything we do. Students meet with their mentor twice a month during the school year, plus monthly group sessions with the wider cohort. Sessions rotate between academic check-ins, career exposure, community service and plain conversation.
Mentors are background-checked, trained members of the chapter. Parents receive a monthly summary and are invited to every group session.
PROGRAM GOALS
01
Keep students on track to graduate
Grade monitoring, tutoring referrals and attendance support with school counselors.
02
Widen what a young man can picture for himself
Worksite visits, college tours and introductions to Black professionals across Central New York.
03
Build a brotherhood that outlasts the program
Cohorts stay together year over year, and alumni return as Collegiate 100 members.
